Billie Eilish performs at Outdoor Theatre during the 2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival on April 13, 2019 in Indio, Calif.

If you were too busy to check out the YouTube Originals documentary Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert documentary over the weekend, here’s some good news. A riveting performance of «When the Party’s Over» from the 2019 edition of the beloved festival went up on Monday night (April 13) and it gives a sense of the scale of the event and the intimacy of Eilish’s live show.

After a sweeping crane shot shows an audience spilling to the horizon, the camera zooms in on Eilish, dressed all in white and seated on a stool as he brother and musical partner, Finneas, plays the song’s mournful melody on a keyboard.

The hushed song draws a respectful silence from the massive throng, some of which can be seen wiping tears from their eyes, a stark contrast to the disturbing blue-tears Eilish is crying in a video beamed onto the screen behind her.

Viewers can relive their own Coachella experience, or visit the desert oasis for the first time to see performances by Eilish, BeyoncéKanye WestDaft PunkMadonnaTravis ScottBLACKPINKLCD SoundsystemRage Against the Machine and more in the documentary.

Rage and Travis Scott, as well as Frank Ocean, were originally slated as the three headlining acts for Coachella 2020, but there’s no confirmation on whether the lineup will remain in place for the rescheduled festival on Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-18 for weekend one and two, respectively.
