Demi Lovato Announces Engagement to Max Ehrich: ‘Here’s to Our Future’

Demi Lovato performs the National Anthem onstage during Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium on Feb. 2, 2020 in Miami Gardens.

It’s official: Demi Lovato is getting hitched!

The pop star is taking her relationship with Max Ehrich to the next stage, after saying “yes” to his marriage proposal.

The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer shared the good news in an Instagram post (see below).

“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his ‘little partner’ – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent,” she writes. “To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.”

Ehrich, whom she has been romantically linked to since March, is the right guy.  “I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” she continues.

“It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all,” she enthuses. “You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”

Ehrich proposed, Lovato said yes. And the happy couple are all loved up.

“I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage,” Demi writes. “I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future.”

The couple confirmed their relationship in May by making a surprise appearance in the music video for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s quarantine tune, «Stuck With U.”

Since then, it’s all been cuddles for the pair, who are both in their late 20s. A wedding date has yet to be announced.
